My Darling, My Sweetheart, My Sister, My Close Friend
God’s Still Got You…I Told You
My sister passed away the other day, and I am allowing myself to express and navigate my grief by writing, singing, and communicating with family and friends. She is my first female sibling to leave. I am a Christian who believes the bible. So, I am clinging to the presence of God and faith like never before. I am confident that I will meet my sister again. It is going to require patience and keep fighting the good fight of faith. Yes, my heart is breaking and it is tenderly painful. But, I must endure this season of my life by purposefully framing my mind with the appropriate thoughts so that I can express my feelings and navigate my actions/behavior in a productive way. And, I will arrive to my destination as I embrace the culture of progression. The Creator of the Universe, God’s Got My Sister and Us!
