Guilty Conscience?
Blood Covenant
I heard a sermon today, regarding a guilty conscience. Sometimes, hearing the right message at the right time is all that is needed to move forward. Especially, when self-awareness is distracted by over thinking on past events. I am reminded that everyone sins are forgiven or can be forgiven, but our guilty conscience related to the sin must be cleansed by the blood of Jesus so that we can worship the Creator of the Universe. Hebrews 9:14 New Living Translation (NLT) 14 Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our consciences from sinful deeds[ a] so that we can worship the living God. For by the power of the eternal Spirit, Christ offered himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins.
When I examine my life and increase my self-awareness; it helps me to forgive and forget the shortcomings of others, especially loved ones more easily. When I am reminded of the Blood Covenant, I have only the desire to please the Creator of the Universe because it is his story; he is the author and finisher.
No worries, only supplication of thanksgiving and praise with prayer while pleading the blood of Jesus with authority in His name.
