Do Not Give Up On Yourself
“There are Children that Need You, Daddy & Momma”
Have you ever had compassion for yourself and mistaken it for self pity?
Having compassion for yourself is an appropriate response because you are taking responsibility to soothe, calm and take care of yourself even if it requires seeking attention from loved ones, friends or professionals.
I understand that it is easier said than done, especially when you are the one in the fire. Life can be fulfilling when we learn how to skillfully express our negative thoughts and feelings and then cast them down immediately uplifting and speaking greater words of God. I am convinced that in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the Word was God.
I believe that people are created strategically like instruments with specifications per the manufacturer. Everyone has an assignment in this world, but be of good cheer because the beginning and the end are already set. This journey is temporary, do the best that you can while you can. Remember, compassion for yourself is being responsible because the children, babies and the youth need your love, compassion, wisdom and protection so that their journey can be more instrumental and productive.
