How can I love God who I can not see, and not love my brother who I can see?
I was talking with my brother yesterday, discussing his present situation. I really felt empathetically connected to him, however, what amused me was his humbleness in the midst of his brokenness. It was my pleasure and honor
to join him in prayer and thanksgiving unto the Creator of the Universe. While fellowshipping with my brother the echo of his voice revealed what it must feel like as a man reflecting over the totality of his life. I understood that despite his altered mental status, his intuition was intact because nothing mattered but transparency and total surrender to the Creator of the Universe. My heart bled with tears for multiple reasons, but I was sustained by His might and Spirit.
Ladies and gentlemen, sometimes your assignment or purpose on this planet is not always a what? Where? Why? but just a simple Who? Am I my brother’s keeper?
